Teri was born and raised in San Diego, Ca.
Teri attended culinary school and graduated from The San Diego Culinary Institute in La Mesa.
Since graduation Teri enjoyed many opportunities. She has worked in restaurants, cooked as a private chef and taught classes as a teacher's assistant at Sur La Table assisting in both the regular curriculum and the Bon Appetit classes. "While working in a restaurant kitchen has proved to be an invaluable, crazy and fun experience I felt it lacked the personal contact and guest attention that I able to give to my guest as a personal chef." After years working as a restaurant chef, Teri decided it was time to get back to being a personal chef.
Since then Teri began The Guest Gourmet. As The Guest Gourmet Teri prepares fresh, from scratch, casual gourmet meals, enter's various recipe contest, writing her food blog and newsletters and enjoying her Chihuahua's.
